We offer many interesting and challenging programs in Mathematics and Computer Science, which will interest high calibre students. Most of our programs are offered in two modes of study: regular and co-op. In the co-op mode students will begin their first paid work term after completing two academic terms (8 months). Once co-op begins, students will alternate between study and work terms until graduation. Co-op provides students with up to 2 years of paid professional work experience, which will allow them to see what awaits them in the job market. It also adds 1 year to the length of their studies, 4 years and 8 months compared to 3 years and 8 months in the regular mode of study. Some students who know they want to go to graduate school choose the regular mode since it takes less time to complete their undergraduate degree. In the end, it is a personal choice based on whether or not students see enough value in the work experience component. Academically, the co-op and regular mode
s of study are identical.
